Juan Francisco García

Juan Francisco García García, better known as Juan Francisco ( born July 15, 1976 in Valencia ) is a Spanish football player. Currently plays full-back in the Spanish side Levante UD.

Career

Juan Francisco began his career in 1994 at the suburban club Levante UD. After three years, moved within Valencia the biggest club in town, the FC Valencia. With the Valencianos he won the 1999 Copa del Rey, the Spanish Cup. With the title, he said goodbye to his hometown and moved to Celta Vigo. A total of five years he played at Vigo and took the team 2003/2004 even in the UEFA Champions League. However, the season was more than bad and the club got off to the second division. Juan Francisco moved to the Turkish giants Beşiktaş Istanbul. After a season in the Super Lig Besiktas gave him for one season to the Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam. At the end of the loan period the Turks sold him on the spur, this time back to Spain: Between 2006 and 2008, played Juan Francisco at Real Zaragoza.

In summer 2008, he moved abroad again and signed for two years with AEK Athens and returned to the 2010/11 season back to UD Levante.

National team

On August 16, 2000 appointed coach José Antonio Camacho Juan Francisco for the first time in the national squad. He made his debut against Germany.

Two years later he was also part of Spain squad for the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea, where he ran aground three times. Since 2003 he was no longer in the squad of the national team and has played more 11 inserts for the Seleccion.
