Judith Merkies

Judith A. Merkies ( born September 28, 1966 in London, Canada ) is a Dutch politician ( PvdA).

Merkies was born in Canada and has a Hungarian mother. She studied law at the University of Amsterdam and Harvard University and then worked as a lawyer. Since 2009 she is a member of the European Parliament.
