Judith Rodin

Judith Rodin ( born September 9, 1944 in Philadelphia ) is an American psychologist and philanthropist.

Life

Rodin came from a Jewish family. She studied psychology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia (Bachelor of Arts, 1966). Your Ph.D. made them at Columbia University in New York. She then worked at Yale University in New Haven. In 1994 she was the first permanent President of the Ivy League. She was a professor of psychology, medicine and psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Since 2005, she is the first female president of the Rockefeller Foundation. In addition, or she was a member of the Board of Directors of AMR Corporation, Citigroup, Comcast, Aetna, Electronic Data Systems and BlackRock. She is married to third wife, Paul R. Verkuil, a legal scholar and former CEO of the American Automobile Association and has one son.
