Judith Schalansky

Judith Schalansky (born 20 September 1980 in Greifswald ) is a German writer, book designer and editor.

Life and work

Judith Schalansky studied art history at the Free University of Berlin and Communication Design at the FH Potsdam. After her graduation in 2007, she taught until 2009 Typographic Basics at the Fachhochschule Potsdam.

Schalansky began her journalistic work in 2006 with the typographic compendium Fraktur mon Amour before it two years later her literary debut Blue does not suit you submitted.
