Judy Reyes

Judy Reyes ( born November 5, 1967 in Bronx, New York City, New York ) is an American actress.

Life

Judy Reyes was born in 1967 in the Bronx and grew up there. At Hunter College in Manhattan, she discovered her interest in acting. In 1992 she got her first role in the movie Love, hate and impotence and worked intensively in the New York theater. She was a co-founder of the Labyrinth Theatre Company, a multicultural theater community. A wider television audience, it was her role as Nurse Carla Espinosa on the television series Scrubs - The Beginners known in which she appeared from 2001 to 2009. With the nurse Carla also has the family background together, from the Dominican Republic.

Reyes fraternal twin sister Joselin Reyes played as well as her sister Fidias Reyes in several television productions. In addition, Reyes has a fourth sister. Since late 2009, Reyes is a mother daughter.
