Jukka Vilander

Jukka Vilander ( born November 27, 1962 in Naantali ) is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey player who played from 1979 to 1999 for TPS Turku in the SM- liiga and Esbjerg IK in the AL -Bank Ligaen.

Career

Jukka Vilander began his career as a hockey player with TPS Turku, for whom he made ​​his debut in the SM- liiga in the season 1979 /80. With Turku Vilander was in the years 1982, 1985 and 1994 each runner and he was in the years 1989, 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1994 with his team Finnish Champion. In addition, the attackers reached the second place in the European Cup with Turku behind the Soviet HK club CSKA Moscow in the 1990 season. Three years later, in the 1993/94 season to Vilander sat with his team against the Russian competitors HK Dynamo Moscow in the final of the European Cup 4-3.
