Julia Duffy
Julia Duffy (* June 27, 1951 in Ramsey County, Minnesota as Julia Margaret Hinds ) is an American actress.
Life and achievements
Duffy made his debut in 1972 in the television series Love of Life. From 1983 to 1990 she played in the television series Newhart was nominated for this role in the years 1984 to 1990 every year for the Emmy. In 1988 she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. In the years 1986, 1987 and 1988, she was awarded the Viewers for Quality Television Award.
In the comedy Dumb and Dumberer (2003) Duffy played the role of mother of Jessica (Rachel Nichols ). In the comedy A (un) Cruelty (2003) she starred alongside George Clooney and Catherine Zeta -Jones in a larger role.
Duffy is married to actor Jerry Lacy since 1984 and has two children.
