Julia Hargreaves

Julia Hargreaves ( born April 8, 1986 in Hong Kong) is an Australian jumper.

In August 2012, she was ranked 922 in the world rankings.

Career

Seven-year Hargreaves began to ride in the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club. Two years later the family moved to the U.S. Connecticut, where she rode in the Ox Ridge Hunt Club. In 1997 the family moved to Australia, where Hargreaves rode for five years in her school team.

In 2012 she started with Vedor in their first Olympics.

Since May 2011, she trained with Edwina Tops -Alexander in the Netherlands.

Private

Hargreaves was engaged with the Australian event rider Christopher Burton, with whom she lived in Wilberforce. Now she is in a relationship with the Irish show jumper Denis Lynch.

Hargreaves is 1.78 meters tall and weighs 57 kg.
