Julia Murray

Julia Murray ( born December 23, 1988 in Whistler, British Columbia) is a Canadian freestyle skier. She specializes in the discipline of ski cross.

Biography

Her father Dave Murray was skier and belonged in the 1970s to the "Crazy Canucks "; he died when she was two years old. Her mother Stephanie Sloan was also a freestyle skier and won the 1979 overall standings of the World Cup.

Julia Murray was incorporated into the newly formed Canadian National Ski Cross Team in 2007. On January 12, 2008, she participated in Les Contamines for the first time at a World Cup race in part and drove to eighth place.
