Julien Doré

Julien Doré (born 7 July 1982 Alès, Gard ) is a French rock and pop singer.

Doré won the 2007 season five of the French talent show Nouvelle Star. Originally, he wanted to use the show just to promote his rock band Dig Up Elvis, but then was able to sing with an unusual song selection to the finals and eventually win. He adapted repeatedly title of female singers such as Like a Virgin by Madonna, ... Baby One More Time by Britney Spears and Moi ... Lolita by Alizée as a jazz or acoustic versions. The latter title was also his first single after the victory, and that he just missed the top of the French charts, was number 1 for four weeks in Belgium.

In addition to his solo career, he has remained committed to his band Dig Up Elvis and he went with her to the end of 2007 concert tour. Until the release of his first solo album substitute it took until June 2008. 2009 he participated in a duet with ex -Nouvelle Vague singer Mélanie Pain the title of Helsinki. The track, released on the album My Name Pain and the collection compilation Le Pop 5, was also issued as a single.

In 2013 he represented the Black Metal singer Alex in the comedy Happy Metal - All We Need Is Love! .
