Julien-Léopold Boilly
Julien -Léopold Boilly ( born August 30, 1796 in Paris, † 1874), also known as Jules Boilly, was a French painter and lithographer.
Julien -Léopold Boilly was the son and pupil of the artist Louis -Léopold Boilly ( 1761-1845 ). He is best known for his 73 watercolor cartoons by members of the Institut de France, especially the French mathematician Adrien -Marie Legendre - the only known picture of this.
