Julio Alak

Julio César Alak ( born January 9, 1958 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine politician.

Life

Alak studied law at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata. In 1984 he became a member of the Partido Justicialista. Of 10 December 1991 to 10 December 2007 Alak was the successor of Pablo Pinto mayor of the city of La Plata. He was succeeded in office Pablo Bruera. Since July 8, 2009 Alak, as the successor of Aníbal Fernández in the government of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, Minister of Justice of Argentina. Alak is married to Marita Scarpino and has three children.
