Julio Aparicio Díaz

Julio Aparicio Díaz ( born January 4, 1969 in Seville ) was a Spanish bullfighter. He went mostly under the stage name Julito and was one of the best Spanish matadors of today.

Career

Already Julitos grandfather, Julio Aparicio Nieto, worked as a bullfighter and also introduced his son, Julio Aparicio Martínez ( born 1932 ), in the life of a matador. After this took part in his first bullfighting from 1950, he finished his career in 1969, the year of his son. With advanced age Julito was in 1987 even the chance to prove themselves in the arena. So he came on 8 February 1987 in the bullring of Gandia in the Valencia region to his debut as Novillero, so an even inexperienced fighter who can be first in juvenile animals, so-called Novillos, tests. In his debut, he stood at the side of the already experienced bullfighters Fernando Lozano and Gregorio de Jesús. Accident in May 2010

On May 21, 2010, a momentous for Julio Aparicio accident occurred in the arena of Las Ventas Madrid. In a fight with a 530 -pound bull of the 41 -year-old slipped and was no longer able to get up in time.
