Julio Valentín González

Julio González ( born August 26, 1981 in Asunción ) is a Paraguayan football player.

Club career

In 2001, González made ​​his debut in the first division at Club Guaraní of Paraguay. Here he succeeded in his first year as a pro 17 goals in 29 games after which he moved to Italian second division club Vicenza Calcio for the 2001/02 season. There did not succeed to prevail in the first team and was loaned in 2002 for half a year to the Argentine club Huracán de Tres Arroyos. Back in Vicenza changed for González none of its situation in the team and he remained an entire year without use in the first team.

National

González took part in 2001 with the Paraguayan U-20 national team at the World Youth Championship in Argentina and reached the fourth place.
