Julius Eisenecker

Julius iron Ecker ( born March 21, 1903 in Frankfurt am Main, † 12 October 1981) was a German fencer who won two Olympic bronze medals in 1936.

The fencers from the fencing club Hermannia Frankfurt was successful with both the foil and the saber. 1931 won his first iron Ecker German championship with the foil, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1941, 1942 and 1951, followed by six more titles; 1937 and 1939 he was German champion with the saber.

1931 won the German men's team at the unofficial World Fencing Championships in the cast Erwin Casmir, Julius iron Ecker, August Heinrich Home and moss the bronze medal in saber fencing. 1934 received Erwin Casmir, Julius iron Ecker, August Home and Stefan Rosenbauer bronze with the foil. 1935 repeated Julius iron Ecker, Hans Esser, August Home, Henry Moss and Richard electoral success in saber fencing of 1931. At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 won the German saber team with Erwin Casmir, Julius iron Ecker, Hans Esser, August Heim, Hans Jörger and Richard choice the bronze medal. Also won bronze foil the German equipe with Otto Adam, Erwin Casmir, Julius iron Ecker, August Home, Siegfried Lerdon and Stefan Rosenbauer. 1937, the first official World Fencing Championships took place; the German saber team with Erwin Casmir, Julius iron Ecker, Hans Esser, August Home, Henry Moss and Richard choice again received the bronze medal.

At the age of 49 years Eisenecker occurred in the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki once again with the foil, but different in each of the first round and with the team in the second round.
