Július Šimon

Julius Simon ( born July 19, 1965 in Lučenec ) is a former Slovak football player.

Career

Simon began his professional career in 1987 at the Slovak Club Dunajska Streda. After several seasons in Dunajska Streda was released in 1993, the club moved to FC Kosice. After his two-year stay in Kosice joined the then 30 - year old Slovak, whose distinctive feature was the Bald, the Slovak tradition FC Spartak Trnava in which he also signed a two -year contract. In Austria gained Julius Simon relatively large notoriety by his move to FK Austria Wien, in which the former captain of the Slovakian national team, should advance to become the playmaker. With its calm and clarity, the former " number 10 " quickly became a crowd favorite of the Viennese " Violet". Despite its huge popularity with the fans, the club's management after a year and a half decided him to SV Ried, a Premier League rivals to transfer.
