Juliusruh

Juliusruh is a place on the north coast of Rügen. That at the north end of the Schaab, a natural land bridge between the peninsulas Wittow and Jasmund, village is part of the municipality Breege.

History

The namesake Julius von der Lancken laid in 1795 at the Park Juliusruh and thus the site and built a mansion. Radar station for the study of the middle and upper atmosphere
