Jumba Yaka Forest Park

The Jumba Yaka Forest Park is a forest in the West African nation of Gambia.

Topography

The 227 -hectare forest area situated in the Central River Region in the district of Lower Saloum and was like the other forest parks in The Gambia for January 1, 1954 set up. It is located about five kilometers away from the North Bank Road, The Gambia 's second most important trunk road, close to the border with Senegal. The approximately 700 meters wide and 2700 meters long area lies north of a road leading to a border crossing to the neighboring state. Farafenni, the largest town of the region, about 32 km lies on the road.
