Jürgen Panis

Jürgen Panis (* April 21, 1975 in Wiener Neustadt ) is an Austrian football player.

Career

Panis began his career in the offspring of the Lower Austrian SC Hochwolkersdorf - Bromberg, where due to his talent, he noticed the talent seekers of VfB Admira Wacker Mödling and was bound for the power center.

1993 Panis was awarded his first professional contract and played from 1993 to 1997 at VfB Admira Wacker Mödling. In 1997 it went on to Linz to LASK. After the descent of the Black - White 2000, the left midfielder moved to FC Tirol Innsbruck, where he was Austrian champion three times. After the bankruptcy of the Tyrolean Panis was committed in 2002 by FK Austria Wien. In Austria, where Panis celebrated his fourth championship title and a Cup victory, he played until 2004.

After a very serious injury that almost cost him his football career, he played as a convalescent player at SC Untersiebenbrunn in the second-class First League. In the 2005/2006 season he plays in the first Austrian Bundesliga with VfB Admira Wacker Mödling. In summer 2006, he moved back to LASK. After playing four years for the Upper Austrians, his contract was not renewed in the summer of 2010.

Panis played five times for the Austrian national team. He made his debut in the friendly match in Austria against Slovakia on 27 March 2002 in Graz, which ended 2-0 to Austria.
