Jürgen Schütze

Jürgen Sagittarius ( born March 3, 1951 in Arnsdorf; † 6 September 2000 in Leipzig ) was a German racing cyclist.

Jürgen Sagittarius started cycling at "Dynamo Dresden-Nord ", where Axel Peschel and Werner Otto had started their careers under the aegis of Gerhard Splits. In 1966, he was delegated to the SC Dynamo Berlin, where he focused on the track cycling. Still a teenager, he took in 1969 at the UCI Track World Championships men's part. Twice, in 1972 and 1973 was Protect East German champion in 1- km time trial, after he had become 1970 and 1971 national runner-up in this discipline.

Jürgen shooter started in 1972 at the Munich Olympics and won the bronze medal in the time trial.

After ending his active cycling career studying Sagittarius economics in Berlin -Karl Horst and was subsequently employed by the SV Dynamo. After the turn, he worked as an independent financial services provider. The SC Berlin, he engaged more for cycling.
