Justice Party (Egypt)

The Party of Justice (Arabic حزب العدل Hizb el- Adl, abbreviation ElAdl ) is a political party in Egypt, which was established after the revolution of 2011. The founders were a group of leaders of the revolution of various movements, including the Youth Movement of April 6, the National Association for Change and the Kifaya.

History

After the revolution in 2011 announced a group of young people who participated in it, that they want to start their own party. In May 2011, the Party of Justice was officially established after 5,000 signatures from all over Egypt were collected. Its founding was celebrated with the first party conference, held at Al -Azhar Park.

The founding committee for the party includes democracy activists like Mostafa el- Naggar, the Egyptian economist Mona el- Baradei, sister of presidential candidate Mohamed ElBaradei, the Egyptian political scientist Amr el- Shobaky, the television presenter Moez Massoud and Abdelgelil Mostafa, the general coordinator of the Egyptian movement for change, and the Egyptian poet and activist Abdul Rahman Yusuf, son of the Islamic theologian Yusuf al -Qaradawi.

The person appointed candidate for more than one-third of the Egyptian parliamentary seats during the 2011-2012 parliamentary elections which began in November. In 2012 it was decided with the Constitution Party a union.

Ideology

The Party of Justice is, people from different political ideologies - both from the right and from the left - welcome, and describes himself as more of a party political programs as one of a particular political ideology. His policy is focused on solving the education, health and labor market problems in Egypt, as well as achieving the requirements that have been set up in the revolution of 2011.
