Justin Brown ( born March 31, 1987 in Salt Lake City, Utah) is an American football player. He is currently at Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer contract.

Career

Association

Justin Braun began his career in the football team in high school in his hometown of Salt Lake City and had there several times to the best scorers in the state of Utah, which he was elected twice to the All-State team. In 2007, joined Brown, ungedraftet, for amateur club Olympique Montreux and remained in the Salt Lake City area. There he was invited in January 2008 to participate for the national team at Utah's amateur tournament in the United States Adult Soccer Association. After he had been there, discovered by the head coach of Chivas USA, Predrag Radosavljević, we invited him to training camp. In March 2008, he signed a contract with Chivas USA.

His first game in Major League Soccer denied Brown on 30 March 2008 in a 1-1 draw against FC Dallas. Overall, he played in his rookie season 24 games for the Californians, scoring four goals. Even in the playoffs went on Brown in two games of the first round against Real Salt Lake, but despite his first scoring a goal in the playoffs do not prevent the withdrawal. In the 2009 season, he played only 15 games because he missed a lot of the games mid-season with a concussion. But at the end of the season he returned to the team and was also the two playoff games contest in which Chivas USA but again failed in the first round.

In the season of 2010, Brown definitively established as a regular player, scoring nine goals over in his MLS career, also get him three assists. In the following season Brown scored eight goals, 15 May 2011 he also succeeded in the game against the New York Red Bulls, the first hat trick of his career. After the end of the regular season Justin Braun moved in November 2011 to the Canadian expansion team Montreal Impact, the 2012 took up the game operating in the MLS. His first game for the club he graduated in the season opener against the Vancouver Whitecaps. On July 11, 2012 Brown but was already released again after twelve matches played and moved to his hometown to Real Salt Lake.

Internationally

So far, Brown has not yet been used for the national team of the United States. His first invitation to a training of the national team, he received on 22 December 2009, but eventually was not in the squad following the friendly match. In 2011 he was invited back to training camp, but had to cancel participation because of an injury to the Achilles tendon.
