Justine Pelmelay

Justine Pelmelay (aka: Anneke Wilma Pelmelay; * September 24, 1958 in Leiden ) is a Dutch singer.

The daughter of Indonesian parents was born in a musical family. She was at a young age in various bands and orchestras, often as a background singer. When Euro Vision Song Contest 1988, she accompanied the Dutch artist Gerard Joling in the background choir. A year later she was his turn, she represented the Netherlands at the Concours Euro Vision Song Contest in Lausanne with the pop ballad Blijf zoals each bent (German: Stay as you are ). She arrived there with 45 points to 15th place.

She stayed true to the music and even released several albums in the early 1990s, she sang along with Lonny Gerungan as Justine & Marlon three albums a.

She was on January 13, 2012 rescued passengers of the Costa Concordia crashed.
