K–12 (education)

In the U.S. K -12 is a widely used collective term for the primary and secondary education (primary and secondary education). It is pronounced " Kay through 12" or " Kay 12" and is short for " Kindergarten to Year 12 ."

In most school districts, the primary and secondary education is divided into visiting a Elementary School ( Elementary School ), one middle school (or junior high school) and a high school. However, Chance consist school districts with K-12 schools where children are taught from kindergarten to 12th grade under one roof and also the High School Diploma obtained.

Outside the U.S., this system also in Canada, Turkey, the Philippines and Australia application.
