K. D. Wentworth

Kathy Diane Wentworth ( born January 27, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, † April 18, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) known as KD Wentworth, was an American science fiction author. Already at the beginning of her author career, she won the Writers of the Future Contest 1988. Recently, she was the editor of the Writers of the Future Contest. Two of her short stories, Tall One, Burning Bright, came to the finals of the Nebula Award.
