The K6 is a 7282 meter high mountain in Gilgit -Baltistan in Pakistan. He is nicknamed Baltistan Peak and is located in the Masherbrum mountains in the Karakoram. Its neighbors to the north are the 7041 meter high link Sar and the 6934 meter high K7. Under its north wall is the Charakusa Glacier, which flows northwest to Hushe Valley. To the east lies the Kaberi Glacier, which flows to the south.

The first ascent was Eduard Koblmüller as head and Gerhard Haberl, Christian from the hedges and Gerd molded item as members of an Austrian expedition on 17 July 1970. A second ascent attempt another expedition failed because of the weather.
