Kaberamaido District

Kaberamaido is a district (municipality) in eastern Uganda with 122 924 inhabitants. Like almost all of the total 112 districts of Uganda, he is named after its chief town. The Kaberamaido district is north of Kyogasees in central Uganda.

Population

Kaberamaido belongs together with the neighboring districts of Katakwi, Soroti and Kumi for Teso sub-region, which is mainly inhabited by the Nilotic peoples of Iteso and Kumam. Kaberamaido is the main field of Kumam.
