Kableshkovo

Kableschkowo (also Kableshkovo, Bulgarian Каблешково ) is a city in Bulgaria in the town of Pomorie, Burgas Province. Kableschkowo is the Burgasebene, on the border of the Balkan Mountains near the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Kableschkowo was named after the freedom fighter Todor Kableschkow. In the resort operate a primary school and a Tschitalischte.

Location and Connections

By Kableschkowo run the National Road 3rd order III/906 connecting Burgas to the Djulinskipass and the National Road 4th order IIII/6009 which connects Acheloj with Miroljubowo. Kableschkowo is located approximately 15 km north of the community center Pomorie and 14 km from Burgas. Neighboring villages are the villages community Kamenar (about 5 km south-east ), Acheloj (about 7 km to the east ); Medowo ( about 5 km north ) and Brjastowez (about 10 miles west). The transport company in the city of Burgas, Burgasbus maintains regular connections to Kableschkowo.

History

After the Balkan Wars of 1912/13, settled in the present town of Bulgarian refugees from Macedonia and Thrace from present-day northern Greece ( → Thracian and Macedonian Bulgarians ). To date, some of the hastily erected, simple accommodations are obtained ( the so-called Sharon houses).

By 1934, the place was called Dautlii. 1969 Kableschkowo became a town.

2005 on the hill Kozarewa Mogila ( Bulg Козарева могила ) were discovered a grave mound and a settlement. The oldest finds and the earliest settlement of this tells come from the Chalcolithic period and the Varna culture be attributed.
