Kabiye (also Kabire, Cabrai, KABURE, Kabye or Cabrais ) is the language of West African Kabiye (People ), which is used in Togo in the Kara region, primarily in Kozah and Binah, of approximately 700,000 (1998) speakers.

About 65 % of the speakers live in the center of Togo or in the plateau regions. Mainly there is the language in the Togolese areas Sotouboua, Blitta, Kloto, Ogou, Amlame, Wawa, and Haho.

In Benin are approximately 30,000 (1991 ) to find speakers.

In northern Ghana Kabiye place of a unspecified number of speakers use.
