KAC Kénitra

KAC Kenitra de, in the Arab world also known as Al- Annadi Qonaitiri, is a football club established in 1938 from the Moroccan city of Kenitra.

History

The Kenitra Athletic Club was founded in 1938 exclusively for Moroccan players. After playing only unterklassig in the early years succeeded in 1956 promotion to the first division.

Although in 1960 the first championship was earned, the 1970s and early 1980s are regarded as the most successful period of the club. Three championships were won, also finished one twice the season as runner-up. In addition, the repeated entry into the Cup final and the catchment succeeded to the finals of the Arab Championship. At that time, many players of the club in the Moroccan national football team were appointed.

In 1995 the club was relegated to the second Moroccan league. 2003 managed to rise again, but at after only one season to stay there again. For the season 2007/ 08 succeeded, the renewed rise.
