Kacey Musgraves
Kacey Musgraves ( born August 21, 1988 in Mineola, Texas ) is an American country musician.
Biography
At eight years old Kacey Musgraves first stood on the stage and then started to learn different instruments and write their own songs. Their first three albums produced and published them between 2002 and 2007 on their own, but had little success with it. It was not until the talent competition Nashville Star her then opened the doors into the music business. First, their songs have been adopted by performers like Martina McBride and Miranda Lambert, they got themselves a record deal in 2012 by Mercury Nashville.
With their debut single Merry Go 'Round in the same year she had a successful debut in the country and the official single charts. She she received a gold award and she was chosen by Billboard for Country Single of the Year. Their first major label album Same Different Trailer Park was then able to enter at number one on the country charts and number two on the Billboard 200 and even place in the UK. The CMA Awards she was subsequently honored as New Artist of the Year. For the Grammy Awards 2014 Kacey Musgraves got four nominations, including in the main category, and the newcomer of the year. She won two awards for the Merry Go 'Round as the best country song and Same Trailer, Different Park as the best country album.
