Kadashman-Turgu
Kadašman - Turgu ( Ka - aš -ma- on since Túr -gu ) was a king of Babylonia from the Kassite ( Kassu ) dynasty, who ruled from 1281 to 1264 BC. He was the son of Nazi Maruttaš. According to the King List A he reigned 18 years. The theophoric element of the name was read as Durgu or Turgu.

A lapis lazuli disc with the name of Kadašman - Turgu ( consecration inscription ) was found in a hoard at Nippur ( region III). Brick inscriptions from Nippur in the territory of the Ziggurat bear his name. Overall him are nine dedicatory inscriptions, two texts, the fragment of a letter to Hattusili III. assign and about 110 business texts.
History
Kadašman - Turgu signed a contract with Hattusili III. from where the mutual succession is guaranteed, and seems to have married a Hittite princess. A letter to Hattusili III. is poorly preserved, but also letters from Hattusili III. to Kadašman - Enlil II mentioned Kadašman - Turgu several times.
Perhaps he also entered into an agreement with Adad I of Assyria nirari.
