Kafr Qasim massacre

The massacre at Kafr Qasim came to the beginning of the Sinai campaign on 29 October 1956 in the village of Kafr Qasim situated in Israel. Israeli border policemen killed while 48 Arab Israelis, including 23 children and adolescents. Another man died of a heart attack triggered by the massacre. Eight of the perpetrators were sentenced in October 1958 to up to 17 years in prison, but released the following year.
