Kagraner Platz (Vienna U-Bahn)

The underground station Kagraner Platz der Wiener U -Bahn line U1 is located in the 22nd district of Vienna Danube city. It is located directly under the Wagramerstraße and extends between Donaufelderstraße and Doningasse. The eponymous for the station Kagraner square was named in 1909 after the former village and now heading Kagran district.

The station was opened on 2 September 2006 with the commissioning of the so far last section of the U1 between stations Kagran and Leopoldau. From about 13 meters deep central platform can be reached by escalators, elevators and stairs fixed in a receiving building, which is in the midst of a bus loop to the west of Wagramerstraße. Outputs are in the Doningasse and crossing area Wagramerstraße / Donaufelderstraße.

It offers connecting flights to tram line 26 towards Hausfeldstraße or Strebersdorf to the bus 22A ( to the subway stations Kagran and Aspernstraße ), 24A (after Breitenlee ) and 31A ( direction Großjedlersdorf ) as well as to regional bus routes. Near the station are the Kagraner parish church and the District Museum Danube city.
