Kai Purnhagen

Kai Purnhagen (born 25 September 1980 in Gießen) is a German European Law, business lawyer and university professor. He has held the Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) of Law and Governance at the University of Wageningen and is Distinguished International Visitor at the Department of Law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Life

After studying economics and law, science, international law, philosophy and political science at the Justus -Liebig- University of Giessen and the University of Hagen Purnhagen was a Fellow at the Faculty of Law at the University of Wisconsin- Madison, where he in 2007 LL. M. obtained. Sponsored by the DAAD, a stay at the European University Institute in Florence followed, where he first received a Master of Research in Law in 2008 and received his doctorate in 2011 for the PhD. In 2009, he also received a Magister Juris Internationalis, Justus- Liebig University in Giessen. He was then first as a post -doc researcher at the Centre for the study of European Contract Law at the University of Amsterdam and later as a Lecturer, aZ at the Ludwig- Maximilians- University of Munich.

He was and is a visiting lecturer and researcher at the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Wisconsin - Madison, the University of Lucerne, the University of Amsterdam and at the Justus -Liebig- University of Giessen.
