Kaisa Roose

Kaisa Roose ( born April 15, 1969 in Tallinn) is an Estonian conductor.

Life and Music

Kaisa Roose began at the age of six with piano lessons at the prestigious music school Tallinn ( Tallinna Muusikakool ). In 1987 she was admitted at the National Conservatory of Tallinn. In 1992 she graduated from there her studies in choral conducting. In 1993 she began her studies in orchestral conducting at the Royal Danish Conservatory (Det Royal Danish Conservatory of Music ) in Copenhagen, graduating in 1997.

She then worked as a conductor at the Royal Theatre (Det Kongelige Teater ) employed in the Danish capital, before moving from 2000 to 2003 in the musical theater ( opera Malmö och Musikteater ) in Malmö, Sweden. She has attended numerous guest appearance with orchestras from Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania and Costa Rica.
