Kaizu, Gifu

Kaizu (Japanese海 津市, -shi) is a city in the Japanese prefecture of Gifu.

Geography

Kaizu located south of Gifu and northwest of Nagoya in the estuary of three rivers Kiso, Nagara and Ibi. The city is already at sea level, therefore, is within the dike system that plane, " Waju " called.

History

The city Kaizu was on 28 March 2005, the Association of Municipalities Kaizu (海 津 町, -chō ), (南 浓 町, -chō ) and Hirata (平 田 町, -chō ) of the district Kaizu founded Nanno. The county was thereupon be dissolved.
