Kakkonen

Kakkonen is the third- highest division in the Finnish football. The division is aligned under the direction of Suomen Palloliitto. In the Game class are 40 teams, divided into four particular regional criteria eingteilte squadrons, and play for promotion to the second division Ykkönen. The respective season winner will advance to the second division, each of the two placed at end of table teams get into the fourth level of play ( Kolmonen ) from.

In the course of the season the teams compete against each other three times. A win there are three for a draw one point.
