Kalivody

Kalivody ( German Kaliwod, 1939-45 turbid water ) is a town in the Czech Republic. It is located 18 km west of Slany and belongs to Okres Rakovník.

Geography

Kalivody located in the Džbán ( Krug Forest) associated hills Řevničovská pahorkatina in the Natural Park Džbán. The village lies in the valley of the brook Bakovský creek, west of Kalivody in the ponds Jezero, Pohor and Žabov is jammed. To the west stretches the forest area Kalivodský les, east of Pozdeňský les. In the north- east rises the Vošková ( 469 m ) south of the Kopaniny (507 m), in the southwest of the Opuka (509 m ) west doe Králka (516 m) and in the northwest the Střela (482 m). A half mile south of the village runs the state road I/16 between Slany and Řevničov.

Neighboring towns are Přerubenice in the north, Milý and Bdín in the northeast, Mšec and Tok in the east, Cerveny Mlyn, Lodenice, Mšecké Žehrovice, Pilský Mlýn and Lipina the southeast, Třtice and Bucky Rybnik in the south, Revnicov and Hředle the southwest, Králka, Kroučová and Třeboc in the west and Filipov, Domoušice, Pochvalov and Dučice in the northwest.

History

Archaeological finds indicate a prehistoric settlement of Kalivoder valley. During the La Tène period there was there a manufacturing facility for bracelets made of jet.

The village was probably divided into two parts since the 14th century; a proportion belonged to the Zemanen Hrabanie of Przerubenitz. The first written mention of Kalivoda took place in 1389 when Peter de Hrabanie Kalivoda alms donated along with his nephew of the same name of the Church in Srbeč to their estates in Kalivoda and Przierubenicz. Seat of Hrabanie of Kalivoda, a side branch of the Hrabanie Przerubenitz, was a water-resistant. In the 16th century Kalivoda was one of Přerubenice independent, free Good. The owners were Jindřich Hořešovec of Libušín, then his widow Magdalena. This sat in her will at first the wife to Jan Velemyský of Velemyšleves, Anne of Barsov, as a sole heiress, but later changed this and bequeathed still Jiřík Litmír of Haj a sum of money from the estate. After the succession neither Erbnehmer was able to pay off the other. Therefore, the sons of Anne of Barsov sold together with Jiřík Litmír of Haj 1577 celebrations, the farm and the village Kalivoda to Adam Hruska of Brezno, Citolib and Smolnice. The festivals thus lost its importance as a manor house and fell in its place two ponds were created later. In 1596 the captain of the Slaný circle, Matthias Stampach bought from the estate Stampach Kalivody by brothers Hans, Adam and Charles Hruska and opened it his rule to the storehouse. As Matthias was childless by Stampach, the rule in 1615 fell to his nephew in January Rejchart. This was during the Estates Uprising from 1618 to the Board of the stands. After the Battle of White Mountain in January Rejchart was convicted of Stampach to the loss of half of his goods and the government granary confiscated in 1622. 1623 pledged the exchequer the first rule to Elisabeth Popel of Lobkowicz. In the same year granary has been overwritten with a debt of 87 932 shock Meissen groschen to Wratislaw Count von Fürstenberg, Heiligenberg and becoming mountain. January Rejchart of Stampach who had emigrated in 1628 to Annaberg, returned in 1631 back with a Saxon army to Bohemia and took possession of his former possessions. He was again expelled from Bohemia and lost in 1634 because of its invasion and his remaining Bohemian goods. After the death Wratislaws von Furstenberg inherited in 1634, his widow Lavinia Gonzaga Novel Lara rule. After these had married her second husband, Otto Friedrich von Harrach, broke out between the Count of Furstenberg and Otto Friedrich von Harrach from a dispute over inheritance. In its resolution, the rule of grain house was awarded the 1639 stemming from the marriage with Lavinia Gonzaga children Wratislaws. After Franz Wratislaw had died of Fürstenberg in 1641 at the age of ten years, the legacy of his sister, Marie Eleonore Katharina, married Countess of Hohenems fell. Eleonore Katharina von Hohenems sold in 1662 the government granary, together with the Fürstenberg house at Prague Castle for 60,000 florins to Johann Adolph von Schwarzenberg, who was raised on 14 July 1670 in the imperial princes. The captain of the rule storehouse, Elias Heidelberg Heidelberg was, in 1681 to create a land register for the rule storehouse, the 613 -page written in Old Czech language folder is now in the archives at Schloss Trebon. 1683 inherited Ferdinand zu Schwarzenberg dominion. 1703 inherited Adam Franz zu Schwarzenberg possession; he was succeeded by his son, Joseph I from 1732 to Schwarzenberg, the rule arose in 1780 to Familienfideikommiss. During the 17th and 18th century, the once rich wildlife of Kornhauser forests declined more and more; the pheasant garden at Kalivody in 1733 abandoned. Subsequent owners were from 1782 John I of Schwarzenberg, from 1789, Joseph II of Schwarzenberg and in 1833 his eldest son and Fideikommisserbe Johann Adolf II of Schwarzenberg.

In 1843 Kaliwod / Kaliwoda consisted of 36 houses with 247 inhabitants. Near the village are the remains of a castle Cupkow existed. Vicarage was Srbeč. Until the mid-19th century Kaliwod the Fideikommissherrschaft grain house remained humbly with Kaunowa.

After the abolition of patrimonial Kalivody / Kaliwod formed in 1850 a district of the municipality in the district Bdín Rakonitz and judicial district Neustraschitz. 1868, the village was assigned to the district snakes. In 1887 Kalivody consisted of 46 houses and had 267 inhabitants. The school was in Bdín. The road to Kalivody was produced in 1920. 1920 Kalivody broke loose from Bdín and formed its own community. The large estates of the Schwarzenberg family was parceled out in the 1920s in the wake of land reform. In 1938, the electrification of the village. In 1942 the village was connected to the telephone network. 1949 Kalivody was assigned to the Okres Nové Strašecí, since its abolition in 1960, the community is part of the Okres Rakovník. In 1963, the road was paved by Kalivody. On 1 January 1980, the annexation took place after Srbeč. Since November 24, 1990 Kalivody again forms a separate municipality. There is a bungalow resort at the ponds Pobor and Žabach.
