Kallerup Stone

The Runestone Kallerup (Sj 17, DR 250), or also referred to as Hoje Taastrup Kallerupstenen or costs, is a rune stone was found in 1827 in a field at the Danish site Kallerup on Zealand. Today, the stone is at the Ansgar Church in the village municipality of Hoje Taastrup Hedehusene. The stone has a few bowls.

The granite stone is about 165 cm high, about 85 cm wide and up to 70 cm thick. The inscription on the stone is believed to have been placed between 800-825 AD and reads: " Hornbores Svides ætlings costs " to German "Stone of Hornbore, descendant of Svide ".
