Kalo Chorio, Lasithi

Kalo Chorio (Greek Καλό Χωριό (n. sg. ), Good village ') is a village in the municipality of Agios Nikolaos of the same town in eastern Crete. The distance to the center of Agios Nikolaos is about twelve kilometers. In 2001, the statistics counted 539 residents in the village of Kalo Chorio itself and 1,125 inhabitants throughout the village.

In the area of Kalo Chorio, several swimming beaches, such as the Karavostassis - beach, the beach of Kalo Chorio and the Golden Beach are in the Vulismabucht. There are also numerous small archaeological sites, ranging from the Stone Age, about the Minoan period to the Roman period.
