Kamer Genç

Kamer Genç ( born February 23, 1940 in Nazımiye / Province Tunceli ) is a Turkish politician zazaischer origin, was a member of various factions and was several times elected to parliament. He is currently deputy of the CHP.

Career

Kamer Genç was born in 1940 in the village of the district Ramazan Nazimiye. His family were simple people, his father Ali Genç worked during the summer in Istanbul. Kamer Genç visited from 1960 on the Financial Technical School in Ankara. Besides, he also worked with his father. During this time his brother died of measles Hıdır. 1966 ended Kamer Genç the Economic and Trade Faculty of Ankara University, which he attended since 1962. During his studies he made ​​internships at the Ministry of Finance and was appointed to a tax officer for Bingöl. In 1966 he passed the entrance exams for the State Danıştay. Between 1974 and 1976 he lived in Paris. After the military coup in Turkey in 1980, he was a member of a special Parliament, which should draw up a new constitution. He was from 1981 to 1983 in this Parliament. Between 1983 and 1987, Kamer Genç worked as a financial advisor. As were readmitted after 1983 parties, he wanted to make as an independent candidate for election, but did not get the consent of the military. He then joined the Sosyal Demokrasi Erdal Inonu Partisi. In 1985 the Sosyal Demokrasi Partisi on the Sosyaldemokrat Halkçı Parti.

Kamer Genç 1987 was elected to the Turkish Parliament as MP for Tunceli for the first time. When the Sosyaldemokrat Halkçı Parti Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi in 1995 with the ( CHP) merged, Genç was not placed on the electoral list. Then he moved to Yol Partisi Doğru. Since the 2007 General Election he sits as a non-party in parliament. He was, among others, also Deputy Chairman of Parliament. After the election of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as the new Chairman of the CHP, Genç took effect on 1 June 2010 the CHP. Overall, Kamer Genç was four times since 1987 deputy, said he did not win the 2002 elections.

In Kamer Genç in June 2010 a cerebral hemorrhage was found. He had two months before encountered while jogging head on a tree branch. Kamer Genç was then performed emergency surgery.

Personal

In 1967 he married the teacher Sevim Hanim, with whom he had attended primary school. The couple has two children named Seckin and Seçil.
