Kang Guru

The Kang Guru (actually Kang Guru Nar Nar - Phu Annapurna ) is a mountain in the Himalayas in the north of Nepal, about 120 km north- west of Kathmandu. He belongs to the mountain range of the Peri Himal. The Kang Guru is on the north side of the Manang Valley, opposite on the other side of the valley lies the Annapurna II The mountain was considered a relatively safe and was mounted mainly by French commercial expeditions. However, in October 2005, 18 of 22 members of a French expedition arrived in an avalanche as a result of weather change lives.
