Kaolack Region

Kaolack is a region in Senegal. The eponymous capital Kaolack located in the west of the region. In the south of Kaolack borders Gambia.

In 2008, the area to the east of Kaolack Kaffrine own region was. The area around Guinguinéo from the region Fatick came to what is new. Since then, the region is divided into three departments:

  • Guinguinéo
  • Kaolack
  • Niorp you Rip
