Kaori Muraji

Kaori Muraji (Japanese村 治 佳 织, Muraji Kaori, born April 14, 1978 in Taitō, Tokyo ) is a Japanese classical guitarist.

Life

Muraji comes from a musical family and received her first guitar lessons at the age of three with her father. After she was able to win some guitar competitions, she gave in 1993 at the age of 15 years in the Tsuda Hall in Tokyo, her first public concert. Also in 1993, they released their first CD " espressivo ".

From 1997, Muraji studied with Alberto Ponce at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. Since 2000 she has performed around the world solo or with orchestra. Since 2003 she has published recordings with Decca Records and claims to be the first Japanese artist to an exclusive contract with that label.
