Kaqusha Jashari

Kaqusha Jashari ( born August 16, 1946 in Srbica, Yugoslavia, now Kosovo ) is a Kosovo and the former Yugoslav politician.

She completed a technical degree and worked among others as a teacher before she was from 1975 full-time official of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia. From 1987, she was Chair of the Executive Council of the Socialist Autonomous Province of Kosovo. In November 1988, she and the President of SAP Kosovo, Azem Vllasi, deposed by Slobodan Milošević, because they rejected the abolition of the autonomy of the province.

After that she worked in the road administration of Kosovo as well as in a private company.
