Karacasu ( Turkish for Rehwasser ) is a district and a district town in the southeastern Turkish province of Aydın. The town lies in the valley of Vandalas Deresi, between the mountain ranges in the east and Akdağ Karıncalı Dağ in the West. The county is bordered on the west by Bozdogan, to the south and east by the province of Denizli and in the north Nazilli and Kuyucak.

In addition to the county town are in the county's three municipalities Ataeymir, Geyre and Yenice and 29 villages Alemler, Aşağıgörle, Ataköy, Bahçeköy, Bingeç, Çamarası, Çamköy, Dedes, Dereköy, Dikmen, Esençay, Gürle, Güzelbeyli, Güzelköy, Hacıhıdırlar, Işıklar, Karabağlar, Karacaören, Nargedik, Palamutçuk, Tekeliler, Tepecik, Yaykın, Yazir, Yeniköy, Yeşilköy Yeşilyurt Yolaltı and Yolüstü.
Attractions
About ten kilometers southeast of Karacasu lie with the place Geyre the remarkable ruins of the ancient Carian city of Aphrodisias.
