Karel Piták

Karel Piták ( born January 28, 1980 in Hradec Králové ) is a Czech football player. He currently stands at FK Jablonec BAUMIT under contract.

Club career

Piták began playing football at SK Hradec Králové, 2001, he moved to Slavia Prague. Initially a striker, he was converted at Slavia to a midfielder. He quickly found in the starting eleven, and became a leading player. With Slavia Piták won the Czech Cup 2002.

In the summer of 2006 Piták transferred to FC Red Bull Salzburg; with Salzburg he was in 2007 and 2009 to celebrate the Austrian Championship title. In the championship season in 2009, he suffered a torn ACL, which earned him only 16 games. In the subsequent time champions season but he has only been used once, and came mainly in the second team, the Red Bull Juniors to inserts. In the summer of 2010 he returned to the Czech Republic and signed with FK Jablonec BAUMIT.

National

In the Czech national team in March debuted in the spring of 2006 against Turkey. He also played seventeen times in the U- 21 team, with which he in Switzerland European Junior Champion in 2002. Piták came in four games for use and got two yellow cards.
