Karen Moncrieff

Karen Moncrieff ( born December 20, 1963 in Sacramento, California) is an American actress, director and screenwriter. As an actress she was until 1998, including in the U.S. soap opera Days of Our Lives (Days of our Lives ) and Springfield Story ( Guiding Light ) to see. Directed the film she has, among other things in the television series Six Feet Under - Died over and in two of his own film projects for which she also wrote the screenplay.

Moncrieff has completed in Rochester, Michigan 1982 Adams High School. Before joining television and film, she participated in beauty contests. In 1985 she became Miss Illinois and was so in the excretion to the title of Miss America in the same year.

She has received for their independent films at various festivals nominations and awards. So it was for both Blue Car - nominated poetry of the summer of 2002 as well as Dead Girl from the year 2007 for an Independent Spirit Award. Both films were also nominated for the Grand Special Prize of the Jury at the American Film Festival in Deauville, Dead Girl, in 2007 the competition for themselves.
