Karim Tulaganov

Karim Tulaganow ( Карим Тулаганов; born August 27, 1973) is a former Uzbek boxer. Tulaganow was bronze medalist of the Asian Championship in 1995 and the Olympics in 1996.

Career

Amateur

In 1995 Tulaganow middleweight ( 71kg - ) to the world championships, but different in the first fight against Gayath Tayfour, Syria ( 11:8 ), from. In the same year he arrived at the Asian Championships in Tashkent the semi-finals and won after a defeat against eventual champions of Asia Jermachan Ibraimow, Kazakhstan ( 8:7 ), the bronze medal. Professional

1999 Tulaganow denied his first pro fight at middleweight, but what he lost Akmal Aslanov. After a one and a half year break he got back in the ring, but also lost this fight by TKO in the second round against Sergey Tatevosyan. Of the following three fights he only won one and finished in 2002 his unsuccessful professional career.
